Library thing

I have a new obsession. I have discovered Library Thing. What is a bibliophile to do? The only possible answer is to start entering books. Wow.

So far I've just been grabbing a bunch from here and a bunch from there to enter. I'm going to have to organize this somehow. One thing I'm realizing is that I have stopped buying much fiction aside from classics. There are a couple of exceptions, but not many, and those tend to be multiples of certain authors.

This is fun. It has awakened my inner librarian. (Don't laugh, Lisa.)

Isn't LibraryThing the best ever? It's the most constructive obsession I've had for months!

It taught me that I have under 1000 books, which I believe shows admirable restraint on my part.

Now to put in the remaining 400 or so I still have in boxes...

Wow, Rachel. If I worked at Border's I can't imagine how many books I would have! You are a picture of restraint. :)

Library Thing looks intriguing, but I'm afraid to think how much time it would take me to enter all our books. Even entering just the school books would take days of my time!

I'm sorry Jane. I must confess I laughed. ;)
