Messed up

Is anyone besides me still thrown off by the time change? I've never had trouble getting back on track before, but I think that the fact that the time change was followed by election day--which is a huge disruption in my sleep patterns--followed by two bouts with bugs, has really gotten me off track.

I usually wake up at 7:00 with no alarm clock. If I want to get up earlier or be sure I'll wake up I set it, but my wake up time has been very consistent for a long time. Since the time change it is 8:00 unless I set the alarm. (And this is really bizarre, because the time change went the other way.) I've been tired and draggy no matter how long I sleep. I've heard people complain about the time change time being hard for them and I've kind of pooh-poohed it, but I think I'm feeling it this time.

Or maybe I'm just staying up too late.

This one was easy for me. Since my internal clock was off-kilter anyway (Alia's "awake time" was very very late in the evening, both before and after she was born) I was just fudging my way through the days in FtW. Coming home and getting back on track was different. The other easy time-change I had was when we were over in South Bend on time-change weekend, so when we came home, we just bumped up to the time it had been in IN when we arrived there. I don't know why, but it sure made it easier.

Normally I have a booger of a time.

There you go: the secret to getting over the time change bump, is to come visit me that weekend.

When's the next time change? I'll start cooking. :-)

Maybe it's because it was a bit longer between time changes?

I've been having a really difficult time getting used to the time change as well.

I've had difficulty, but with the time change. I wake up at 7:30 a.m. unable to back to sleep. I think I'm getting over it though.

We are having an awful time adjusting. I can't figure out why. My boys start falling asleep on the way to church on Sunday mornings at 9am. Ugh!
