I just spent an hour writing a post--with many links--about my trip to Colorado and The Feast.
My browser then froze up when I visited the synod's youth ministry page and I lost everything. I think I'll take that as a sign.
I may try to recreate it later.

You also might want to look at getting a client that will let you compose posts even if blogger isn't working that day. Clients will let you write a post on your machine and submit them later. Some will even spell check.
Actually, to be a bit more accurate, MSN Spaces is of the devil... Blogger is of the Google! ;^)
But, I do agree with your underlying point, re: Blogger.
